Store Policies

Effective January 2002

Birds are guaranteed for 24 hours. We cannot be held responsible for diseases or injuries not visible at the time of sale. Birds must be examined by an avian vet within 24 hours of receipt or no other guarantee will be expressed, implied or given.

HANDFEEDING CHICKS

Baby birds are purchased at CUSTOMER RISK.

LIVE BIRD DEPOSITS

50% in advance and 50% upon receipt of baby. Delivery of chicks is in the order of deposits. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, WHETHER LIVE BIRDS OR MERCHANDISE.

RESTOCKING FEE

25% fee will be assessed for stock items only.

SPECIAL ORDERS

100% non-refundable/non-exchangeable.

REFUSED MERCHANDISE/LIVE BIRDS

100% forfeiture of any refund, in store credit. Restocking fee and applicable return freight charges are customer responsibility.

DEPOSITS

Customer commitment to complete the sale.

UNCLAIMED MERCHANDISE

Becomes store property after 30 days (Live Birds exempt).

UNCLAIMED BIRDS

Become store property 12 days after notification under the Texas State Statue regarding abandoned animals.

COLLECTION FEE

Additional charges for attorney fees, court costs, filing fees, administration, 18% interest annually on the unpaid balance or the statutory rate of judgment interest after judgment.
